Internal sprung internal suspension unit for Bachmann HEA et Al (P4 only) - CC07S
This Suspension Unit kit comes complete with etched brass sheet and spring wire components for the conversion of one wagon. These sprung suspension units will provide a relatively simple P4 conversion for the Bachmann HEA (and associated wagons with the same underframe), avoiding major surgery that would be required with replacement W irons. The suspension unit is fitted from below, and around the lower part of the hopper.
Should it be necessary, the guitar springs can be later accessed by first removing the wheels and bearer plates; the wheels are retained by removable pins.
12 mm diameter wheels, along with bearings are needed to complete.
