Etched and finished stainless steel wheel brake discs without bolt hole, 11.2mm dia. Suitable for Alan Gibson plain disc 14mm dia. wheels.
HAA wagons were originally built with the discs cast as part of the wheel centres, so had no visible bolt fixings. Later builds of CBA and CDA appeared with separate bolted on discs; these were also used as later replacements on some HAAs.
A tops code of MPA was introduced in 2017 for MHA type wagons that were fitted with the original HAA type wheels. There is a list of the wagons involved in Rail Express October 2017 p103
